Bill Susa was a 1978 graduate of Greenwood High School, in Greenwood, WI. He grew up on the family dairy farm, and developed a passion for agriculture throughout his life. After graduation, he was owner/operator of a 40-head dairy farm for around 20 years. He was involved with the local FFA Alumni chapter, and helped to establish a greenhouse on the high school campus to help enrich agriculture education.
Bill passed unexpectedly in October 2021 from complications related to the COVID virus. In his memory, his family decided to create this scholarship in his honor. The scholarship is meant to support those pursuing a future in agriculture, whether via traditional 4-year college degree, or vocational education.
